Participation options
The congress is planned as a hybrid event. Participation in person is just as possible as live online participation. There is only one ticket option; the organiser can be informed of the decision as to which option to use by e-mail at kongress2021@22q.email. Information will be sent to registered participants in good time before the start of the congress by e-mail.
Corona pandemic
If we are officially prohibited from holding the congress as a face-to-face event, all tickets will be converted into online tickets. Tickets booked for participation in the Come-Together-Dinner will of course be reimbursed in this case.
Hygiene measures 4th European 22q11 Congress
In compliance with the current Corona Protection Ordinance of the Federal State and City of Berlin, the 2G regulation (German System: vaccinated or recovered) with mandatory masking outside the lecture rooms will be applied at the 4th European 22q11 Congress from 20-21.11.2021. Access to the congress can only be granted to participants aged 12 years and older who are either fully vaccinated against Covid 19 or have recovered from Covid 19 disease. Children younger than 12 years of age may attend if they present a negative test. In relation to the end of the event, rapid tests may be a maximum of 24h, PCR tests a maximum of 48 hours old.
People with DS 22q11 belong to the vulnerable patient groups. The protection of these persons and their relatives from severe disease progression is therefore a priority for us as organisers.
PLEASE NOTE: VALID, RECOGNISED PROOF OF VACCINATION OR RECOVERY MUST BE PRESENTED AT CHECK-IN.

As part of a media education project, affected young people and young adults from the MediaKids group of the association Wir sind 22Q e.V. and filmreflex are making a film about the congress - interviews, talk and atmosphere, everything outside of the specialist lectures.

Come-together-Dinner
On Saturday evening we will meet in the famous “Clärchens Ballhaus”. Opened on September 13, 1913, it is one of the last remaining ballrooms from this period. The highlight and dinner location is the mirror hall, which has been preserved in its original state.
